2、 I. 語法自學(xué) 一.表語從句 表語從句是在復(fù)合句中作表語的名詞性從句。放在系動詞之后,一般結(jié)構(gòu)是“主語+系動詞+表語從句”。 (一)可以接表語從句的系動詞有: 1. be(am,is,are,was,were) 2. feel , seem , look, appear ,sound, taste , smell 3. stand , lie , remain ,keep, stay 4. become ,get , grow , turn ,go ,come, run, fall 5. prove, turn out (二)引導(dǎo)表語從句的連接詞: 連接詞:th
3、at / whether /as if /as though連接代詞:who / whom / whose / which / what 連接副詞:when / where / why / how / because (三)表語從句常見考點 1. that引導(dǎo)的表語從句,只起到連接作用,但不能省略。 e.g. The trouble is that he has lost the key to the house. 2. 用suggestion等詞表示愿望、建議、命令等情緒時,用虛擬語氣,從句中should(可省略)。常見的詞有:advice,suggestion,order,p
4、roposal,request, plan,idea等。如: My suggestion is that we (should) start early tomorrow. 3.在as?if,?as?though?等引導(dǎo)表語從句中,表示與事實相一致時,要用陳述語氣。 學(xué) 案 內(nèi) 容 閱讀記錄 如:It?looks?as?if?we’ll?be?late.? 看起來我們似乎要遲到了。 與事實相反或相差很大時,可用虛擬語氣. Eg.When?a?pencil?is?partly?in?a?glass?of?water,?it?looks?as?if?it?we
5、re broken.? 4. 填空: The reason why we didn't trust him is ______ he has often lied. reason 做主語時,表語從句只能用that引導(dǎo), 不能用why 引導(dǎo)。句型結(jié)構(gòu)為: The reason (why…/for…)is /was that…. 二.賓語從句 (一) 概念 作賓語的句子就是賓語從句。它在句中作及物動詞、介詞或形容詞的賓語。 如: I don’t know why he was late this morning. (二)連接詞1.連接詞 that, whether , if
6、2.連接代詞what, which, who, whom, whose 3.連接副詞 when, where, how, why (三)賓語從句常見考點 1.連接詞只起連接作用,沒有實際意義,常常省略;連接代詞、副詞,連接主句和從句,并在從句中擔任句子成分,具有一定的意義。 eg: I didn’t hear ____he wanted me to do. 2.if/ whether “是否” Could you tell me if (whether) Miss Brown lives in that house? 3. 語序:陳述句語序 即:主句+連接詞+從句(主+謂+其他成
7、分) Do you still remember ________________________(他說的什么)? 4. 時態(tài):主句用現(xiàn)在時或?qū)頃r,從句可用任何時態(tài)。主句用過去時,從句用與過去相關(guān)的時態(tài)。 【注】:1.從句說明的是一般真理、客觀事實、自然現(xiàn)象、名言時,用現(xiàn)在時。 Dad told us that it is better to do than to say. 2.從句中有具體時間狀語,即使從句動作發(fā)生在主句動作前,仍然用一般過去時。The teacher told me she was born in 1960. (四) 賓語從句注意事項 1.當從句的原
8、句為以下句子以及what, who作主語時,語序不變: What’s wrong? What’s the matter? What’s happening? 2.只能用whether不能用if的情況 1)在介詞后面:We didn’t think about whether it would rain the next day. 2)在動詞不定式前:They asked me whether to sit at the front. 3)當與or not連用,或提出兩種選擇 時: Mary asked whether I was doing my homework or no
9、t. 4)在動詞discuss后的賓語從句中: We discussed whether we would have a sports meeting next week. 5)引導(dǎo)表語從句或位于句首的主語從句用whether: Whether he is right or wrong is a question. 3.用if不用whether的情況:引導(dǎo)條件狀語從句,if意為“如果”時: We’ll go hiking if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.
