1、2022年高二英語 模塊6 Unit16 Lesson 1 Stories from History教案 北師大版選修6 教材分析 本課是第16單元第一課。教材講述了意大利的龐培城,一個變成了“時間膠囊”城市,公元79年被火山爆發(fā)所吞沒和1600多年后科學(xué)家們再發(fā)現(xiàn)它的歷史故事。本課以這個歷史故事為話題,展開對故事體裁(Genre)寫作結(jié)構(gòu)的了解。本單元在Warm-up部分已為第一課做了很好的故事話題、結(jié)構(gòu)和詞匯方面的鋪墊,因此本課可以從Warm-up導(dǎo)入開始,了解故事的種類。進一步培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在進行閱讀過程中,了解文章故事的結(jié)構(gòu)和寫作特點以便更好地為故事體裁寫作輸出做準(zhǔn)備。最終達(dá)到讀得懂、說
2、得出、寫得好的目標(biāo)。 本課篇章不長,也不算難。詞匯短語最好通過學(xué)生的課上活動,以及對過去完成時的練習(xí)和掌握,不斷使詞匯及短語復(fù)現(xiàn),從而達(dá)到掌握和理解課文的目的。另外,過去完成時的學(xué)習(xí)可以通過發(fā)現(xiàn)實驗的方法加深學(xué)生的理解和應(yīng)用。即:在語言應(yīng)用中發(fā)現(xiàn)并掌握語法知識。 本課計劃兩課時完成。第一課時的重點是通過故事結(jié)構(gòu)(標(biāo)題,故事事件發(fā)生的場景(時間、定點、人物),主體和結(jié)論)話題相關(guān)信息的了解,運用自己的語言通過講故事復(fù)述課文學(xué)習(xí)本課及相關(guān)的詞匯;第二課時的重點是詞匯的鞏固和語法的發(fā)現(xiàn)、歸納、總結(jié)和練習(xí),讓學(xué)生明白過去完成時和過去時的區(qū)別以及Have/Get something done詞的用法

[PPT 3-10] 1. 學(xué)生了解和辨認(rèn)不同故事種類,盡快進入主題。 2. 激活Warm-up中所接 觸的詞匯,激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣和背景知識。 CW 2’ Step 2 Ss listen to the beginning of five stories. Write down what kind of story it is. [PPT 11-
6、13] 學(xué)生根據(jù)聽力片斷,判斷出不同種類的故事。調(diào)動其對歷史故事的了解,從而進入課文主題。 CW 3’ Pre-reading Step 3 Ss answer two questions on P6, and then use pictures and the following words given as hint to describe what happened to the city of Pompeii. [PPT 14-16] [學(xué)案I] 1.學(xué)生運用問題、語境和圖片,圍繞話題了解Pompeii的背景信息,預(yù)教詞匯和短語。 2.通過Pompeii的地理位置
7、圖片,進一步了解Mount Vesuvius火山爆發(fā)的原因。 CW 6’ While-reading Step 4 First reading: Ss read the text for main idea. (Skimming) After finding the main idea of the story, Ss try to answer questions from the text P6. [PPT 17-20] 1.通過Skimming的閱讀策略,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生抓住文章主旨。 2.回答問題是對文章故事有一個整體認(rèn)識和了解。 CW 5’ Step 5 Secon
8、d reading: Ss read the text for the second time, knowing some detailed information about time, people and events. Fill in the tables with the information from the text. [PPT 21-25] [學(xué)案II] 1.旨在通過學(xué)生對文章的再讀,對文章的細(xì)節(jié)加以掌握。 2.完成兩表格中的時間和事件;人物和事件的情況。 CW & IW 8’ Step 6 Ss try to review some of the
9、words and expressions and fill in the cloze. [PPT26-27 ] 進一步熟悉課文,根據(jù)課文輔助詞匯及短語了解課文整體,為下一步復(fù)述和講故事做鋪墊。 IW 5’ Post-reading Step 7 Ss work in pairs and check each other’s retelling either using the first person or the third person form. After that, T ask individuals to and do a presentation before c

[PPT 12] [學(xué)案III] 熟悉課文,提取文章信息,達(dá)到讀得懂、說得出的目的。 PW & IW 6’ Step 8 Ss work in groups of four and do a role-play: Interview One of the group members acted as a tour guide and the other three tourists. The tour guide may be asked several questions about Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius Volcanic E
