、nship with their kids has no effect on marriages at all D.parents should be pleased to see their kids leave home Ⅰ. it is not permitted不允許。
on no account (=by no means,in no case決不,絕對(duì)不)位于句首時(shí)句子要倒裝;by any means無(wú)論如何;in that case在那種情況下;to some degree在某種程度上。 由答語(yǔ)I’m not using it anyhow.
A應(yīng)為ask for one’s advice,C、D構(gòu)不成有意義的詞組。 on the spot在現(xiàn)場(chǎng),當(dāng)場(chǎng),與本句的語(yǔ)境一致;in a spot陷入困境;off the spot不準(zhǔn)確,離題;而D項(xiàng)是一個(gè)不存在的結(jié)構(gòu)。 10.B if not如果不的話,if so如果那樣,if necessary如果有必要,if possible
12.B be about to do...when... 13.D have trouble/difficulty (in) doing sth. result from (因……)發(fā)生;depend on依靠;取決于;watch out當(dāng)心;account for解釋……
、 15.C good manners“禮貌”前不加冠詞,而in a...manner為固定搭配,所以選C。 Ⅱ.完形填空 1.A think of...as...
5.B 依據(jù)下文的with pride可知,該處用little。 give way to是固定短語(yǔ),意為“為……
20.D stop doing sth.
