It is a great honor to have a chance to stand here and talk to you today. What I am going to talk about is Unit Two -Whats Your Favorite Season- in the PEP Primary English S

2、tudents Book-Book Grade Five.一、Analysis of textbookThe main topic in this unit is season. There are three major parts in this unit, including Part A, Part B and Part C. Obviously, it is impossible to finish this unit in one lesson hour, so I divided this unit into six lessons hours, and each part ta

3、kes two lessons hours. And what I am going to talk about is the first lesson. The first lesson includes four small parts: Lets start, Lets chant, Lets learn and Lets find out.(一)、Important Points and Difficulties in this lesson1 How to answer the following questions: What is your favorite season (or

4、 Which season do you like best?)? What is the weather like? What season is it now? Why do you like spring/summer/fall/winter?2 How to help students be able to read, speak, listen and write the new words: such as season, spring, summer, fall and winter 3 Review some words on weather, such as cool, wa

5、rm, hot, cold, windy, rainy, sunny, and cloudy. (二)、Teaching Goals in this lesson1. Study the four sentences patterns: What is your favorite season (or Which season do you like best?)? What is the weather like? What season is it now? Why do you spring/summer/fall/winter?2. The student can read, spea

6、k, listen and write the new words: season, spring, summer, fall and winter after finishing this lesson.3Develop the students interests in studying English by helping them speak English as much as possible.4. Teach the students some geographical knowledge on weather in different places.（三）、Preparatio

7、ns in this lesson1. Prepare four typical pictures: a spring picture with beautiful flowers and green trees, a summer picture with hot sun and a weeping man, a fall picture with lots of fruits in the trees and a winter with lots of snows.2. Prepare four pictures on a tree in spring, summer, fall and

8、winter.3. Prepare a big map, and the map are marked with some cities on it.4. Prepare some red stars to award the students who do a good job in class.5. Prepare a tape, a recorder and a fan.二、Teaching Methods and studying methods(一) Situational Teaching MethodDuring the teaching procedure, I make se

9、veral situational conversations for the students. For example, I choose some students to do the role-playing game, and let them play the roles in the textbook, and make their own conversation by themselves according to their reality. By doing this game, the students can have chances to practice thei

10、r oral English and join into the teaching procedure. (二) Interactive Teaching Method Guessing game is one of activities in my teaching procedure. For example, the teacher makes body gestures, and the students guess what the gestures mean. By the interaction between teacher and students can avoid jus

11、t the teachers talking, also can activate atmosphere of the class, and let them learn English by games.(三) Task-based Teaching Method In the first lesson, I design a task for the students, for example. I ask the students to draw four pictures in spring, summer, fall and winter and put the words on t

12、he pictures. By doing this activity, the students can memorize the new words better.(四) Group Study MethodI divide the class into four groups and each group has its own name. Group study plays a very important role my lesson. By doing this, the students can study English in competitive cooperation.

13、(五) Practice MethodPractice is very important. The students can not improve their English without practice, because practice makes perfect. By doing practice, the students can make full use of what they have learned in the class. 三、 Teaching procedures(一)Warm-up (1) Guessing game In warming-up step,

14、 after the teacher and students greet each other, the teacher begins to make body gestures on weather, such as cold, hot, warm, cool, rainy, windy, cloudy and so on., and asks the students what is the weather like now. And the students guess what kind of weather it is. Such as making a hot weather g

15、esture, the teacher keeps fanning with his hand; making a cold weather gesture, and the teacher keep shaking. Any student guesses the right answer will be awarded a red star for his group. This step helps students go over some words on weather, and makes preparation for the new lesson.(二) Lead-in(1)

16、 Learning the new wordsThe teacher takes out four typical pictures in spring, summer, fall and winter, and sticks them on the blackboard. Then the teacher asks the students what season is it, and puts the word season on the blackboard, and teaches the students how to read it. Then the teacher points

17、 at spring picture, and asks students what season it is. The students may not know the word spring, but they can answer it “Chuntian” in Chinese, then the teacher writes down the word spring below the picture, and teaches them how to read it. Using the same way, the teacher teaches other new words.

18、After that the teacher invites some students to stand up and read the new words several times.(2) Guessing GameIn this step, the students put the new words into practice. The teacher chooses a volunteer, and shows him a picture of tree, and he draws the picture, and other students guess what season

19、it is based on the picture the volunteer draw. Anyone who guesses right will be awarded a red star for his group. Every group has one chance to answer the question.(3) Task: Drawing picturesIn this step, the teacher requires every student drawing four pictures in spring, summer, fall and winter, and

20、 putting the new words on them. (4) Showing the mapIn this step, the teacher takes out a big map, and sticks it on the blackboard, and shows the students some cities on the map, such as Lhasa, Beijing, Shenzhen, Kunming, Harbin, and Jianshui, and begins another Guessing game: the teacher asks “what

21、is the weather like in Lhasa/Shenzhen/Kunming/Harbin/Jianshui in spring/summer/fall/winter”. The students use “it is windy/sunny/warm/cold/hot/warm/cool” answering the questions. Anyone who guesses right will be awarded a red star for his group.(5) Role-playingIn this step, I choose some students to

22、 do the role-playing game, and let them play the roles in the textbook, and make their own conversation by themselves according to their reality. Each group at least makes a conversation. Such as:Converstion1A: which season do you like best?B: winterA: why do you like winter?B: Because I like snows.

23、Conversation 2A: what is your favorite season?B: I like summer.A: why do you like summer?B: Because I like swimming.Anyone who does well will be awarded a red star for his group.(6) Lets chantThe teacher plays the tape of Lets chant, and the students follow the tape to chant together for two time. 27、部分構(gòu)成。內(nèi)容量大，不也許一節(jié)課上完，因此我把整個單元分為六個學(xué)時，每個部分用兩個學(xué)時。我說課的內(nèi)容就是第一學(xué)時的Part A內(nèi)容。第一學(xué)時的內(nèi)容涉及四個小部分，它們分別是：Lets start, Lets chant, lets learn 和Lets find out.(一) 重點和難點1聽、說、讀、寫新單詞：season, spring, summer, fall, winter.2. 運用四個句型進行問答：1 What is your favorite season (or Which season do you like best?)? What is the weather lik

29、、說、讀、寫新單詞：season, spring, summer, fall, winter.3通過使學(xué)生多開口說英語，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的愛好以及用英語體現(xiàn)的能力。4使學(xué)生理解某些地理知識，特別是氣候方面的知識。（三）課前準(zhǔn)備1準(zhǔn)備四張典型的季節(jié)圖片：春景圖是紅花綠樹；夏景圖是艷陽高照、汗流滿面；秋景圖是果碩累累；冬景圖是白雪茫茫。2準(zhǔn)備四張不同圖片，這四張圖片是相似一棵樹在春夏秋冬的不同景象。3準(zhǔn)備某些有關(guān)不同天氣的圖片。4準(zhǔn)備一幅地圖，并在地圖標(biāo)注上課本浮現(xiàn)的都市的相相應(yīng)的地理位置。5準(zhǔn)備某些小紅星，用于課堂獎賞。6準(zhǔn)備錄音機、磁帶和一把小扇子。二、教學(xué)法（一）情景教學(xué)法在教學(xué)過程中，我為

30、學(xué)生發(fā)明了幾種情景對話。例如：讓學(xué)生扮演課文對話中的角色，讓她們根據(jù)實際進行英語會話。情景教學(xué)法讓學(xué)生有機會去練習(xí)口語，參與到教學(xué)過程中來。（二）互動性教學(xué)法在我教學(xué)過程，我設(shè)立幾種猜迷游戲。例如：教師做肢體語言，讓學(xué)生猜當(dāng)時的天氣狀況。通過師生互生，可以避免教師獨自授課，學(xué)生只聽不說的局面，現(xiàn)時可以激活課堂氛圍，讓學(xué)生在互動中學(xué)習(xí)英語。（三）任務(wù)型教學(xué)法在這一節(jié)課中，我給學(xué)生安排一種任務(wù)：讓她們?nèi)ギ嬎姆啒愕拇合那锒?，并把所學(xué)到單詞標(biāo)到圖畫上，通過這樣做，可以協(xié)助學(xué)生更好記憶單詞，豐富課堂活動。（四）小組合伙學(xué)習(xí)我把所有的學(xué)生分為四個小組，并為每個小組命名。小組合伙學(xué)習(xí)方略是非常重要的學(xué)習(xí)

31、方略，可以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的團隊意識和集體觀念，讓學(xué)生在合伙競爭中學(xué)習(xí)英語。（五）練習(xí)法 做練習(xí)在學(xué)習(xí)英語過程也是非常重要的，學(xué)生只有通過練習(xí)才干運用到她們在課堂中所學(xué)到知識，達到鞏固知識，學(xué)好英語的目的。三、教學(xué)過程（一）熱身-猜迷游戲課堂開始，教師與學(xué)生問好，然后教師開始做有關(guān)天氣的肢體語言，讓學(xué)生主線教師的肢體語言來猜想天氣狀況。例如做天氣非常熱的肢體語言，教師可以用手不斷扇扇子；做天氣冷的肢體語言，教師可以體現(xiàn)為被冷得全身發(fā)抖，在這個游戲中，教師也可以請學(xué)生來做肢體語言，讓其他同窗來猜。猜對的話，就為猜對那個小組獎勵一種小紅星。通過這個游戲，可以協(xié)助學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)有關(guān)天氣的單詞，并為新課的導(dǎo)入做鋪墊

32、。（二）新課導(dǎo)入（1）學(xué)習(xí)新單詞教師拿出準(zhǔn)備好的四張季節(jié)圖，然后粘貼在黑板上，接著問學(xué)生：What season is it? 同步在黑板上定下season，帶著學(xué)生領(lǐng)讀，然后讓學(xué)生猜這個單詞的意思。如果猜對的話，就給猜對那個小組獎勵一種小紅星。然后教師指著春景問：what season is it? 也許學(xué)生不認(rèn)得spring這個單詞，但她們懂得是春天，于是教師就把spring寫到春景圖下面，并教學(xué)生怎么讀。然后教師再用相似的措施來教summer, fall, winter這幾種單詞。 教完新詞后，教師邀請某些同窗起來試讀，如果讀不對，就協(xié)助學(xué)生糾正。（2）猜迷游戲：猜季節(jié)這個游戲可以協(xié)助學(xué)

33、生迅速把所學(xué)到的單詞用到練習(xí)中去。教師先選一種自告奮勇的同窗，然后背對其他學(xué)生，把一棵樹四個季節(jié)圖選其中一幅圖來畫，其他學(xué)生就根據(jù)所畫的圖來猜季節(jié)。猜對的話，就給猜對那個小組獎勵一種小紅星。然后再邀請三個同窗來做相似的游戲。（3）任務(wù)：畫圖做完游戲后，教師規(guī)定每個學(xué)生畫四幅簡樸的春夏秋冬圖，并把所學(xué)單詞標(biāo)到圖畫上。（4）展示地圖教師拿出已經(jīng)準(zhǔn)備好的地圖，然后把它粘貼到黑板上，給學(xué)生指出北京、拉薩、深圳、昆明，哈爾濱和建水的地理位置。然后又開始激動人心猜迷游戲。教師可以使用句型“what is the weather like in Lhasa/ Shenzhen/ Kunming/ Harbi

34、n/ Jianshui in spring/summer/fall/winter？”來進行提問，學(xué)生用句型“It is windy/ sunny/ warm/ cold/ hot/ cool”來回答。答對的話，就給答對那個小組獎勵一種小紅星。（5）角色扮演在這個教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)中，我請某些學(xué)生到講臺上來，然后充當(dāng)教材對話的角色，進行實際演習(xí)，每組學(xué)生至少一次演習(xí)，演習(xí)的例子可以自編。如：對話1A: which season do you like best?B: winterA: why do you like winter?B: Because I like snows.對話 2A: what is

35、 your favorite season?B: I like summer.A: why do you like summer?B: Because I like swimming.（6）說唱部分教師播放 “l(fā)ets chant” 的錄音，學(xué)生跟著錄音說唱兩次，然后教師解說說唱內(nèi)容的意思，然后再說唱一次。（7）數(shù)紅星，定勝者祝賀贏得紅星最多的小組，予以她們掌聲鼓勵。（8）家庭作業(yè)規(guī)定學(xué)生抄寫所學(xué)的新單詞和四個問答句句型兩次。（9）板書設(shè)計Unit 2 What is your favorite season?1.
