Therefore, it is necessary todetermine the scraper spacing reasonably. In this paper, a rather comprehensive equation of scraper thrusting force is obtained bythe analysis of the process under stress when the scraper moves the material in the load side of the scraper conveyer and theconsideration of the friction force that both sides of the material triangular prism body in the scraper get. Afterwards, theformula that describes the scraper spacing is deduced and the factors which affect the scraper spacing are analyzed.
