1、第四單元教材分析
本單元講授一些學生熟悉的動物園動物。它以第3單元的會話結(jié)構為基礎以便讓學生能更流利地談論這些動物(或其他的事情)的特征。本單元還介紹更多的方位詞(如inside, outside, in front of 和behind)
在本單元中,學生應爭取掌握(正確地說、讀、寫、使用)下列詞匯和用語:
elephant, kangaroo, lion, monkey, tiger, wolf, mountain, rock, tree, inside, outside, in front of, behind
要求學生練習說和寫, 并能口頭應答下列單詞和短語:

一. Class Opening and Review

2. SING “OLD MACDONALD HAD A FARM”
3. PLAY A SENTENCE GAME
Write Can a ? on the blackboard.
Ask the students to call out the names of five animals and five actions in English. Make separate lists of these words on the blackboard and number
5、each form one to five.
Ask the students to call out numbers, in English, for the first blank and then the second blank.
Ask the class to answer each question it makes up.

In Chinese, discuss the photograph at the beginning of this unit.

Write zoo on the blackboard and say it a few times with the students.
Explain that this unit is about zoo animals and that the students will learn four animals in this lesson.
