What were they like?他們?cè)趺礃?？What+be+sb.+like?意為“某人怎么樣”，用來詢問某人的性格特點(diǎn)，常用nice, friendly, kind等表示性格特點(diǎn)的形容詞回答。如：What is Tom like?湯姆怎么樣？He is friendly.他很友好。與這

4、個(gè)問句類似的還有：What+do/does+sb.+look like?用來詢問某人的外表、長相，常用tall（高的）, short（矮的）, fat（胖的）, thin（瘦的）, good?鄄looking（好看的）等表示外形相貌特點(diǎn)的形容詞回答。如：What does Susan look like?蘇珊長得怎么樣？She is thin.她很瘦。3. It was great to play there.在那里玩是很棒的。此句是英語中的常用句型，其結(jié)構(gòu)為：It+be+adj.+to do sth.。其中it為形式主語，不定式短語to dosth.為句子真正的主語，意為“做某事是的”。如：
