1、2022年高中英語 Unit2 Two geniuses-reading教案 牛津上海版S1B 一、 章節(jié)分析(Reading section ) (一)綜述 本單元向我們講述了發(fā)生在愛因斯坦身上真實的事情。并不是我們想象中的大科學家治學的故事,而是他跟大家開了一場玩笑,反映出他幽默的一面。 1 先確定Main characters? Setting? Time? Place? 再理清storyline:Beginning? Development? Climax? Ending? 這樣也為之后的寫作做好鋪墊。 2 可以利用文章中的圖片預(yù)測故事,或讓學生閱讀到某一段停下,關(guān)上課
2、本,對接下去的故事情節(jié)進行預(yù)測。 3 可以引導(dǎo)學生討論什么樣的人算是天才。天賦就等于成功么? 也可以引導(dǎo)學生討論生活或?qū)W習的方法。是不是額外需要一份好奇心、想象、創(chuàng)造力、甚至幽默? (二)閱讀目標 1 知識目標 學習課文中重點詞、詞組、句型和語法。 2 能力目標 提高學生的閱讀理解能力和培養(yǎng)學生的想象力。了解故事體裁的必備要素。 3 情感目標 幫助學生對how to treat the genius you are born with?以及how to live a life?有一定的思考。 (三)教學方法 任務(wù)型教學法組織教學。 (四)重點和難點 1 詞匯學習 1

7、ike two minutes. When you sit on a hot stove for two minutes, it seems like two hours that's relativity." 得知:He had a sense of humor. l 接著,可以讓學生鳥瞰整個故事。問:Who is the other genius? What’s the relations between the two geniuses?等等。(第三段) l 引導(dǎo)學生歸納整理這個故事。 Hans Einstein on the way to a university

They smelled bad, but he enjoyed seeing their little body parts, like their lungs and heart. “I like biology,” Marvin said. “I want to be a biologist, an animal doctor, and an inventor when I grow up. I’m going to invent a pill so that animals all learn to live together without eating each
16、other all the time.” “You’re crazy!” exclaimed Rebecca. “What are the animals going to eat if they don’t eat each other?” “You don’t know anything. You’re a girl and you’re only nine,” taunted Marvin. “Marvin, be polite to your sister,” Veronica admonished. “Yes, ma’am,” he said. “I apologiz
17、e, dear little sister.” “That didn’t sound very sincere, mommy,” Rebecca plained. “Okay, here’s how I’ll keep the animals from eating each other. I already thought of that, of course. The solution is a pill that will make all animals like to eat grass, like the cows and sheep do. That way no mor
18、e animals will eat each other, and kids won’t have to mow the lawn any more. So, that will kill two birds with one stone.” “Well, that’s very clever,” Veronica told Marvin. “Now, tell us about your day, Rebecca,” Veronica said. “Well, as you know, mommy, I’m going to be a real doctor like you,

Einstein in Heaven: Einstein dies and goes to heaven only to be informed that his room is not yet ready. "I hope you will not mind waiting in a dormitory. W
22、e are very sorry, but it's the best we can do and you will have to share the room with others." he is told by the doorman (say his name is Pete). Einstein says that this is no problem at all and that there is no need to make such a great fuss. So Pete leads him to the dorm. They enter and Albert is
23、introduced to all of the present inhabitants. " See, here is your first room mate. He has an IQ of 180!" "Why that's wonderful!" says Albert. "We can discuss mathematics!" "And here is your second room mate. His IQ is 150!" "Why that's wonderful!" says Albert. "We can discuss physics!" "And here is
24、your third room mate. His IQ is 100!" "That’s wonderful! We can discuss the latest plays at the theater!" Just then another man moves out to capture Albert's hand and shake it. "I'm your last room mate and I'm sorry, but my IQ is only 80." Albert smiles back at him and says, "So, where to you think interest rates are headed?"
