初中英語(yǔ)冀教版八年級(jí)上冊(cè)第五單元 Lesson 30: A Famous Friend? 一．教材分析： 1. 單元及課文分析 This unit will focus on discussing the students’ futures. Students will begin to explore their likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses in terms of future careers. They will begin to form ideas and opinions about their futures and what they hope to accomplish. They will learn about different professions, job options and identify what their goals are for the future and what steps they will need to take to achieve those goals. In addition, they will learn to give and receive advice and positive feedback. The grammar focus throughout this unit will be the modal verbs might and would，comparative and superlative adjectives. 2.教學(xué)目標(biāo) 語(yǔ)言技能：掌握描述理想的詞匯與語(yǔ)句，并就自己的理想進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單介紹。 掌握詞匯：wise, actor 接觸詞匯：Helen 短語(yǔ)和句型：no matter what… 情感態(tài)度: 通過(guò)對(duì)課文的學(xué)習(xí)使孩子們樹(shù)立遠(yuǎn)大理想，認(rèn)識(shí)到立足現(xiàn)在才會(huì)有美好的未來(lái)。 3.教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：了解不同人的理想，并利用閱讀后所獲取的信息來(lái)進(jìn)行寫作。 教學(xué)難點(diǎn)：根據(jù)所學(xué)知識(shí)，準(zhǔn)確恰當(dāng)?shù)赜糜⒄Z(yǔ)描述自己的理想。 4.學(xué)習(xí)策略：鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生通過(guò)觀察、模仿、體驗(yàn)、探究、展示等方式學(xué)習(xí)與合作學(xué)習(xí)。 二．教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備： 磁帶、錄音機(jī)、多媒體 三．教學(xué)步驟： Step 1. Class Opening Think About It. (About 3 minutes) Who do you like to ask for advice when you need help? Your parents, your teachers or your good friends? 【設(shè)計(jì)思路：引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過(guò)思考，明白只有立足現(xiàn)在，才會(huì)有美好的將來(lái)?！? Step 2. Listen 1. Teacher：Danny doesn’t know his future very clearly. So he asked Helen for help. Show a photo of Helen. (About 2 minutes) 2. Play the tape for the students. Ask them to listen carefully and then tell T or F. Read (About 10 minutes) 1) Read Lesson 30 silently and try to find out the answers to the questions. What questions did Danny ask Helen ? What’s Helen’s advice for Danny? Step 5. Reading Practice(About 10 minutes) Give the students a passage to read. And then let them find out students’ ambitions and the reasons. 【設(shè)計(jì)思路：通過(guò)練習(xí)，學(xué)習(xí)利用閱讀后所獲取的信息來(lái)進(jìn)行寫作。】 Step 6.Writing (About 10 minutes) T: As we all know from this lesson, many people have dreams. What about your dreams and why? Let the students discuss in groups to finish the passage with the help of the following questions. Write an e-mail to your friend. Tell him or her about your ambitions and ask for advice.
