教學(xué)過程
Step 1 Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2 Warm-up and Work on 1a, 1b
(1) Show the six pictures and explain the new phrases to Ss.
T: Sally and Jim had a busy weekend. Look at the pictures. Can you tell me what
they did?
T: What did Sally do yesterday?
S: She flew a kite yesterday. She flies a kite every week.
T: What did Jim do yesterday?
S: He swam yesterday. He swims every week.
(Help Ss to use the other phrases in 1a to answer the questions. such as sang
and played the guitar, studied for a test, had dinner with friends, went to the library .)
(2) Flash the pictures on the screen as quickly as possible. Then ask Ss “What
did he/she do? ” Have Ss answer the question as quic kly as th ey can.
(3) Show the phrases again and help Ss change the verbs from the present tense to the simple past form.

(4) Here are some things that Sally and Jim did yesterday. Match the activities
with the pictures.
Have Ss w ork on 1b.
T: Do you think the activities in 1a are fun? Draw a happy face or an unhappy
face under each picture.
Step 3 Listening practice ( 聽力練習(xí) )
(1) Work on 1c. Listen. What did Sally and Jim do last weekend? Complete the chart.
(2) Listen to the material twice. Fill in the chart alone. Check the answers.
(3) Read aloud the sentences aloud in pairs.
(4) Role-play. Ask some pairs to perform their conversat ion to the class.
Step 4 1d,1e
(1)Work on 1d. Make a conversation with a partner. Talk ab out what Sally and
Jim did last weekend like the model:

A: What Sally did last weekend?
B: She flew a kite.
(2) Role-play the conversation.
(3)Make a conversation. Ask what your partner did last weekend.
Give Ss some phrases that they can use, such as zoo, school, beach, my aunt ’s,
mother, father, my best friend ? They can use these phrases to make their
conversations.
Let two pairs report their dialogue.
Step 5 Homework
(1) Write the new phrases.
(2) Practice the conversation in 1c.

本節(jié)課充分利用課本素材讓學(xué)生加以聽說訓(xùn)練, 通過反復(fù)的練習(xí), 學(xué)生的聽說能力會有一定的提高 , 而且本節(jié)課重點突出:著重訓(xùn)練了動詞的過去式和過去式的句型。
