2019-2020年高一英語上冊 nit8 Sports(第三課時)教案 大綱人教版第一冊 Teaching Aims: 1.Review some useful words in the text. 2.Review the Future Passive Voice and its forms. 3.Get the students to use the Future Passive Voice. Teaching Important Point: The affirmative, negative forms of the Future Passive Voice, especially its interrogative forms in General Quesitons and Special Questions. Teaching Difficult Point: The use of the Future Passive Voice. Teaching Methods: 1. Doing-drills to get the students to master what they should master. 2. Pair work or group work to make every student be active in all kinds of teaching-and-learning activities. Teaching Aids: a projector and some slides Teaching Procedures: FStep Ⅰ.Greetings and Revision Greet the whole class as usual. The teacher checks the students’ homework FStep Ⅱ.Word Study T: In this period we’ll go over the Language Study. Please open your books at Page 54.First we’ll do word study. Each of the eight sentences means the name of something or somebody. Read the sentences and plete the words below. For each word the first letter has been given. Don’t look at the text when doing this. Discuss them with your partner. In a while, I’ll ask some students to read the words. Suggested answers: 1.Greece 2.Event 3petitor 4.Medal 5.Shotting 6.Torch 7.Motto 8.Athlete FStep Ⅲ.Grammar(Part 1) T: In the last period, we learned the text “The Olympic Games”.It tells us “China won another great petition in xx.”What does “the great petition” mean? SA: In xx, the 29th Olympic Games will be held in Beijing. T: Right. Thank you. Sit down, please.(The teacher writes the sentence on the blackboard.)Look at the sentence. What is its predicate? SB:“Will be held.” T: Right. The structure “will be held” is the Future Passive Voice. It is made up of “will + be + past participle”(Write it on the blackboard.)In the text there are some sentences like this. Please read the sentences, Sc. SC: New buildings and sports venues will be built. More trees will be planted and new roads will be built. T: Please turn them into the active voice, using “the people of Beijing” as the subject. One student, one sentence. SD: In xx,the people of Beijing will hold the 29th Olympic Games in Beijing. SE: The people of Beijing will build new buildings and sports venues. SF: The people of Beijing will plant more trees and build new roads. T: Now open your books. Turn to Page 54.SG,read the requirement and example, please. (SG reads the requirement and example on Page 54.) T: Do you exercises, please. Pair work. Write your answers on a piece of paper. We’ll check the answers in a few minutes. (The students begin to do the exercises and the teacher may go among the students to help them if necessary. A few minutes later, the teacher says the following.) T: Have you finished? (Ss: Yes.)Please look at the screen and check your answers. (The teacher shows the screen.) Suggested answers: 1. A new bridge will be built over the river. 2. Tens of thousands of trees will be planted in Beijing. 3. Some of the sports rules will be changed. 4. More will be paid to the athletes. 5. Children will be encouraged to take more exercise. 6. The environment in the city will be improved. T: Have you any questions? If you have, please raise them. I’ll be glad to have a discussion with you. (The teacher answers any question asked by the students.) T: Now please make the sentences on the screen negative. SG: A new bridge will not be built over the river. T: Make them interrogative, please. SH: Will a new bridge be built over the river? … FStep Ⅳ.Grammar (Part 2) T: Now open your books. Turn to Page 55.Look at Part 2.First look at the requirement and example. (The teacher asks one of the students to read the requirement and the example. Then the teacher says the following.) T:I suggested doing the exercise like this: the first step: change them into the Future Passive Voice; the second step: ask questions about the underlined parts. Do you understand what I mean?
