淺析中職學(xué)生英文求職信寫作實(shí)踐與研究中英翻譯Shallow of secondary vocational students English cover letter writing English translation practice and research在現(xiàn)代社會(huì)日益國(guó)際化的今天,英語課程在各中小學(xué)、各大中院校的學(xué)習(xí)中的地位也日漸重要,并受到各教育部門的廣泛重視。同樣,對(duì)于職業(yè)中學(xué)的學(xué)生來說,英語學(xué)科作為一門文化基礎(chǔ)課程,無論是對(duì)于就業(yè)班的學(xué)生還是對(duì)口班的學(xué)生來說,都有著舉足輕重的作用。筆者在多年的英語教學(xué)實(shí)踐中,發(fā)現(xiàn)英文求職信也是中等職業(yè)學(xué)校英語教學(xué)大綱中的一項(xiàng)重要內(nèi)容,而且英文求職信很具有寫作代表性。那么,我們應(yīng)該如何寫好一封英文求職信呢?筆者總結(jié)了一套簡(jiǎn)單易學(xué)的英文求職信的寫作方法,現(xiàn)拋磚引玉,淺談如下:In todays modern society increasingly international, English course learning in each primary and secondary schools, universities and middle schools are increasingly important in the position, and has been widely promoted by the education department. The author summarized a set of easy to learn English cover letter writing method, presently, the author mainly as follows: 一、注意英文信件的格式One, pay attention to the format of the letter in English 英文信件的寫作在格式上與中文信件有所不同。一封完整的英文求職信由寫信日期、收信人地址、寄信人地址、稱呼、正文和署名等幾個(gè)部分組成。收信人地址和日期寫在右上角;寄信人地址寫在左上角,并且要在收信人地址和日期下方。稱呼寫在寄信人地址下面,空一至二行,頂格寫。筆者在多年教學(xué)中發(fā)現(xiàn),學(xué)生們?cè)趯懙刂贰⑷掌?、稱呼及署名時(shí)更容易出錯(cuò)。下面舉幾個(gè)例子加以說明:地址的書寫要注意從小地點(diǎn)到大地點(diǎn)排列,例如:江蘇省南通市海安縣人民東路58號(hào),英文可以表述為:No. 58, Renmin East Road, Haian, Nantong, Jiangsu。日期的書寫一般為月、日、年,“日”后面要加逗號(hào),例如:September 27, 2012。稱呼后一般用逗號(hào),例如:Dear Sir,。而學(xué)生們很容易將逗號(hào)標(biāo)成冒號(hào),所以平常教學(xué)中對(duì)此點(diǎn)要經(jīng)常加以強(qiáng)調(diào)。署名一般寫在右下角,署名上方要寫上禮貌語,并加上逗號(hào),一般為:Yours sincerely,; Sincerely yours,; Yours truly,; Truly yours,等。這些在英文信件寫作教學(xué)中都不能忽視。英文信件正文應(yīng)在稱呼下面空一至二行,在書寫格式上又有齊頭式和折中式兩種書寫方式。如用齊頭式格式書寫,每段第一句頂格寫,不需空格,一般用在商業(yè)等正式信件中使用;如用折中式格式書寫,第一段第一句第一個(gè)單詞應(yīng)寫在Dear后的正下方,以后每段第一個(gè)單詞都必須與第一段開頭對(duì)齊。English correspondence writing with Chinese letters on the format is different.
