T: How are you today? S: Fine, thank you! And you? T: Very well! Thank you! 2. 學生做“英語值日”報告。 3. 將學生分成三個小組,Team A, Team B, Team C,讓小組成員之間相互合作,組與組之間相互競爭,看看誰是本堂課的贏家。聽音樂,激發(fā)學生去挑戰(zhàn)自我。 Step II Revision(第二步,復習) 展示給學生一些很熟悉的明星和知名人物,通過視覺和猜的方式復習句型“It might/could/must be…….” 通過聽覺和猜的方式繼續(xù)復習情態(tài)動詞的用法。 Step III Lead-in(第三步, 導入) This activity provides writing practice using the target language. Read the instructions to the class. Read the words in the box and have students repeat several times. Invite different students to explain the meaning of each word in their own words. Get students to look at the three pictures carefully. Say, You are to use the words from the box to write a sentence about each picture. Point out where to write the sentences. Ask a student to say the sample answer to the class. Get students to plete the activity individually. As students work, walk around the classroom offering language support as needed. Check the answers on the blackboard. Answers a. The UFO is landing. b. The alien is chasing the man. c. The man is running. 讓學生仔細觀察圖片,猜測圖片可能要告訴我們什么事情。 (說明:通過問題讓學生猜既對對話內(nèi)容有整體的了解,為聽力練習作好準備;又培養(yǎng)學生的注意力,想像力,觀察力。) Step IV 2a Listening(第四步, 聽) This activity gives students practice understanding and writing the target language in spoken conversation. Read the instructions to the class. Point to the three pictures in Activity 1. Say, You will hear a conversation about these pictures. As you listen, write a number in the box in the left corner of each picture to show the order of the events. Point out the sample answer in the box of the third picture. Say, You will hear the man is running first. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen. Play the recording again. This time students listen and number the pictures. Check the answers. Answers The pictures should be numbered in this order: 2,3,1 Tapescript(聽力內(nèi)容) Man: Hey, look at the man running down the street. I wonder whats happening. Woman: He could be running for exercise. Man: But hes wearing a suit. Woman: Well, he might be late for work. Man: He looks kind of scared. Woman: Oh, no! Whats that? Man: Where? Woman: Theres something in the sky. Man: It could be a helicopter. Woman: No, it cant be a helicopter. Its too big. It must be a UFO. Man: A UFO? Whats going on? Woman: Look, now the UFO is landing … Man: And theres a strange creature getting out. It must be an alien. Woman: And the alien is chasing the man! I must be dreaming. Man: Maybe we should call the police. (pause) Hey, wait a minute. Whats that? Woman: Where? Man: Over there. Woman: Its a woman with a camera. Man: She could be from the TV news. Woman: No, look at all those other people. They are actors. Oh! They must be making a movie. Encourage students to write two or three sentences to finish the story. Answers will vary. Write a sample version on the blackboard. Ask students to use it as a model. A sample version Man: Thats right. It must be interesting. Why not go and see how they are making a movie? Woman: Good idea! (第四步,訓練學生的聽力,讓學生理解故事的內(nèi)容,同時檢測一下先前猜測的正確與否。一個不明飛行物著落后,外星人來到地球,開始抓地球人,地球人瘋狂的逃跑。) Step V 2b(第五步,說) This activity provides oral practice using the target language. Point out the sample conversation in the box. Invite a pair of students to read it to the class. SA: Why do you think the man is running? SB: He could be running for exercise. SA: No, hes wearing a suit. He might be running to catch a bus. Write it on the blackboard. Say, Now work with a partner. Start by reading the conversation in the box with your partner. Then role play conversations using information in Activity 2b. Get students to work in pairs. As the pairs work together, walk around the classroom listening in on various pairs and offering help as needed. Ask several pairs to say their conversations to the class. (第五步培養(yǎng)學生寫和說的技能,通過小組合作學習,大膽的發(fā)揮想象,猜測以下故事的結(jié)果。地球人是被抓了?還是?然后由學生來討論結(jié)果,教師總結(jié))。 觀看一部時間5分鐘時間和外星人有關(guān)的影片,培養(yǎng)學生的視聽水平。 Step VI. Listening(第六步) 聽力練習(Listening practice),要求學生快速閱讀2a,2b,幫助學生明確聽力語言目標的要求。接著,聽力練習,學生根據(jù)錄音內(nèi)容完成2a and 2b。 最后,重放一遍錄音內(nèi)容,學生跟讀。 (學生通過聽力練習,進一步熟悉本課的目標語言。) 教學操練目標語言(Practice target language),2c Pair work根據(jù)掌握的對話內(nèi)容,扮演在場的人,模仿2c部分的對話,利用2b的內(nèi)容進行操練。 (先進行語言輸入,再進行語言輸出,充分訓練目標語言) Step VII Summary(第七步,總結(jié)) 1.Say, In this class, weve mainly done much listening and writing practice using the target language. 2.總結(jié)情態(tài)動詞的用法。 Step VIII Practice(第八步,練習) 通過中考題,讓學生知道本堂中的重點在中考中是怎么考的,提前為中考做好準備。 Step VIIII Homework(第九步,作業(yè)) Ask students to collect pictures of different kinds and then talk about them using must, could, might and cant. 最后,評選出本堂課的贏家。學生共同唱一首英文歌曲,結(jié)束本堂課。 Blackboard Design(板書設(shè)計) Unit 5 It must belong to Carla.
