Improve the students writing abilityTo practise the structure: Adverbial clause with while, when, before, until or as soon as 教學(xué)方法Formal and interactive practice教學(xué)用具M(jìn)ulti-Media (or Tape recorder, OHP)教學(xué)過(guò)程Step 1 RevisionHelp students to revise what is learnt in 3 periods of this module.Step 2 Language practice Task1: To summarize and consolidate the usage of adverbial clause with while, when, before, until or as soon as. Directions(1).Run through the examples with the Ss. and make sure that they are familiar with the use of adverbial clause with while, when, before, until or as soon as.(2). Ask the Ss. to repeat the sentences in the box.(3). Ask “Can you make other similar examples?”(4).Focus the Ss attention on the ways in which they are used:Task2: Choose the correct word to plete the sentences.Directions:(1). Do activities 1 and 2 on page 68 individually. (2). Ask the Ss. to check with a partner.(3). Ask some of the Ss. to read their answers. (4).
