Ⅰ 教學目的與要求:
1、詞匯: ask, answer, elephant
2、句型:Miss Kangaroo wanted to see her.
Mr. Elephant was very angry.
Mr. Cat, Mr.dog and Miss kangaroo were all scared.
3、功能:能聽懂故事Scared.。
Ⅱ 教學重點:
學會掌握詞匯和句型。
Ⅲ 教學難點:
運用所學詞匯和句型復述故事。
Ⅳ 教具準備:單詞卡片,圖片,錄音帶,錄音機。

Step 1 熱身活動
1、師生問好。
2、唱英文歌曲:A Happy Song
Step 2 復習導入
1、利用單詞卡和表情圖復習:happy, angry, tired, sad, scared, proud
2、看表情圖,表述心情。如:I have a new bike for my birthday. I’m very happy. 等,讓學生自由說,不管怎樣,教師都應給以鼓勵。
3、出示有關動詞的卡片,復習動詞的過去式,導出ask, answer及asked, answered, 并教學。

Step 4 教授新課
1、 教授新詞:elephant并初步理解故事大意
教師說:I want to ask you a question. What animals do you like? Please answer. 讓學生自由回答。在繼續(xù)說:Do you like elephants? Who can answer? 接著教學elephant,估計學生對這個詞已很熟悉,可簡單帶過。
今天故事中有一位Mr. Elephant, 還有兩位先生Mr. Dog, Mr. Cat與一位小姐Miss Pan
4、da, 我們來看看它們之間發(fā)生了什么。
2、 教學課文。
讓學生打開課文第十三頁,播放錄音,邊聽邊找出不懂的單詞。
針對學生提出不懂的單詞,可請其他學生給予幫助和講解,或教師進行答疑,有必要時可操練。引出單詞asked, answered,wanted的復習,向學生說明我們講故事或描述過去所發(fā)生的事情時,要用上動詞的過去式。同時解釋asked, answered, wanted是規(guī)則動詞的變化形式,在詞尾+ed,與was, were不一樣。
再次播放錄音,同時劃出有關表情的句子。Mr. elephant was very angry. Mr. Cat, Mr. Dog and Miss
5、 Kangaroo were all scared. 這兩個句子可重點帶讀并操練。接著問學生:課文中什么樣的句型出現(xiàn)得最多?引出句型:Miss Kangaroo wanted to see her. 要求學生說出意思并操練。向學生解釋‘Get in the boat, please’的意思是“請上船?!薄甕ou’re too big.’意思是“你太大了?!薄瓾e wanted to jump into the boat.’意思是“他想要跳進船?!?
播放第三遍錄音,有表情地跟讀課文。可多放一、二遍,直至學生模仿較為正確為止。
請六位學生分段朗讀課文,而后全班齊讀。
根據課文內容回答以下問題

Who wanted to see Miss Panda?
Who wanted to go with Miss Kangaroo?
Why was Mr. Elephant very angry?
Were Mr. Cat, Mr. Dog and Miss Kangaroo all scared?
Step 4 鞏固提高。
1、可讓學生看故事插圖,在教師的幫助下上臺復述故事內容。
2、完成課本第十五頁第2題的聽力練習。
3、完成課本第十六頁第3題的看圖把句子寫完整,可讓一些學生先說一說,再寫下來,提醒學生
7、別漏寫了動詞is.
Step 5 課后作業(yè)。
1、完成課本第十六頁的自我評價。
2、聽錄音跟讀課文。
3、復習Lesson 3,Lesson 4 的單詞。
4、完成《一冊通》上本課的練習。
