Unit 6 DetectivesLesson 18 The Mystery Writer 教材分析本課是北師大版初中英語八年級(jí)下冊(cè)教材Unit6 Lesson18,作為本單元的第三課時(shí),基于本單元Detectives的話題,本課介紹了英國著名女偵探小說家Agatha Christie一生的主要成就以及她塑造的主要人物。幫助學(xué)生了解Agatha Christie這位高產(chǎn)作家,激發(fā)學(xué)生課后去閱讀其作品的興趣。本課為人物傳記,主要介紹了兩點(diǎn)的內(nèi)容:Agatha Christie寫作上的成就以及她塑造的兩個(gè)典型的人物:偵探Hercule Poirot 和偵探 Miss Marple。在閱讀教學(xué)中,可以幫學(xué)生梳理出兩條脈絡(luò),一條是根據(jù)時(shí)間順序,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生了解Agatha Christie一生的成就; 另外一條是其塑造的兩名偵探,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)其塑造不同人物的特點(diǎn)。 因?yàn)楸菊n文章較長(zhǎng),內(nèi)容對(duì)學(xué)生來說不容易,而且沒有語法內(nèi)容,所以本課的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)將分為兩個(gè)課時(shí)。第一課時(shí)主要依據(jù)第一條脈絡(luò)。重點(diǎn)讓學(xué)提取出Agatha Christie一生在寫作上的成就,本課難點(diǎn)是讓學(xué)生可以總結(jié)出Agatha Christie是什么樣的人。并為學(xué)生推薦Agatha Christie相關(guān)作品。 教學(xué)目標(biāo)【知識(shí)與能力目標(biāo)】1. According to the numbers, show them 3 sentences:Her books have been translated in to 103 languages。Actors and actresses perform one of her play on more than 24,000 shows。 Her sales are more than 2 billion books.3. Read the new words.4. T asks: Do you think the writer is popular?Let's get close to the mystery writer.Step 3. Reading1.1st Reading1. Read the passage and match the main ideas with each paragraph.a.
