I’m terribly/awfully sorry./I’m sorry for/about. I’m sorry to./to have done that. I apologize. Forgive me (for.). I really didn’t mean that at all. 2.Excuse me (for.). be afraid that. What a pity/shame!/It’s a pity that.,一,二,三,3.That’s all right. It doesn’t matter. That’s nothing. Don’t worry about it. Never mind. Forget it. It can’t be helped. It’s OK. I’m afraid I can’t because.,一,二,三,注意:①除了見面時的臨時邀請,在西方,特別是關(guān)系不是很親近的人之間往往在一到兩個星期前提出邀請,以便對方能調(diào)整自己的時間表。 ②無論是書面還是口頭邀請,都有多種表達(dá)法,但要注意避免使用命令式的口氣。如:You come to our dinner this evening. ③在被邀請時,如若不去,應(yīng)當(dāng)找出適當(dāng)?shù)睦碛上驅(qū)Ψ秸f明,免得對方誤認(rèn)為你不愿意與其交往。當(dāng)然作為邀請者,你也可以在表示遺憾時,對他說沒關(guān)系,以后還可以找機會。 —Will you please go to see a movie with me tonight? ——今天晚上你陪我去看場電影好嗎? —Sure,why not? ——當(dāng)然可以。,一,二,三,(四)提供(幫助等)和應(yīng)答(Offers and Responses) 常用表達(dá)法: 1.Can/Could/Shall I help you? Can/Could I.? I wonder if I could. Would/Do you mind if I opened/open the window? May I ask a favor of you? Would you do me a favor? I’d like to,but I. 特別提醒: 在此類交際項目的肯定表達(dá)中,“With pleasure”一定要與表示回答感謝的“It’s a pleasure”或“My pleasure”區(qū)別開來。,一,二,三,二、態(tài)度 1.同意和不同意(Agreement and Disagreement) 熟悉中英兩種文化的差異,掌握兩個不同民族的交際習(xí)慣非常重要。 (1)表示同意的常用表達(dá) Certainly./Sure./Of course./No problem. By all means./That’s a good idea. I can’t agree with you more.,一,二,三,(2)表示不同意的常用表達(dá) No,I don’t think so./I am afraid not.
