Some people say yes, who think that the Internet helps make friends on line so that students can express their feelings and opinions more freely and it’s helpful to their foreign language studies. Others， however, don’t think so. They say making friends on line is a waste of time, which should be spent on study; besides, they may get cheated online. But others believe that the construction work may cause air pollution and traffic jams may appear now and then. What’s worse, the noise produced by the work will disturb people’s peaceful life.
