Structures: ——What’s this in English? ——It’s a/an … The use of “a” and “an”. 教學難點 To develop the ability of making conversation. 教法導航 利用直觀教學法讓學生學習單詞,進行對話;Task-based teaching。 學法導航 Task-based learning method and cooperative learning method. 教學準備 1. PPT、字母卡片A、B、R、O、M。 2. To be active. 教學過程 Step 1: Greetings 1. Sing ABC song. 2. T: Good morning. How are you? Ss: I’m fine. Thanks. And you? T: I’m OK. Step 2: Revision Step II Guessing game (letter A, B, R, O, M) T: Show a part of a letter and ask: What’s this? Let the students answer like: I think it’s … And then show the whole letter to check the answer. Write the letters R, O, O, M on the blackboard and ask: What’s this? Ss: It’s room. Show the picture of 1a on the blackboard. T: Look at the picture. It’s Alice’s picture. There are many things in her room. Look, what’s this in English? Get the students answer like: It’s a/an … Learn the new sentence and eight new words: room /u:/, pen /e/, ruler /u:/, orange /?/, jacket // /i/, key /i:/, quilt /i/ and map //. Pay attention to their pronunciation. Pay attention to “an orange”, we should read like: / ’n ?rind?/ Step 3: Work on 1b Listening Listen for the first time. Ask the students to pay attention to the intonation and the sentence stress. Make some marks like . What’s this in English? It’s an orange. What’s this in English? It’s a map. Listen for the second time. Repeat the sentences. Step4: Work on 1c Let the students make conversations in pairs by the things in Section A 1a. Then act out in the front of the classroom. Step 5: Work on 1b 拓展提升 T: I have some special pictures to show you. Look, are they beautiful? Ss: Yes. T: Look at this one first. It’s S1’s room. S1, what’s this in English? S1: It’s a quilt. T: And what’s this in English? S1: It’s a jacket. … Let the students ask and answer in pairs by their own room. Let the students pay attention to “a” and “an”, learn how to use them. “a”用于輔音音素開頭的單詞前,而“an”用于元音音素開頭的單詞前。 Get the students find some nouns after “an” that they know. For example, egg, elephant, apple, engineer, accountant … Step 6: 2a-2d Learn the pronunciations of the new letters. Ii [ai] Jj [d?ei] Kk [kei] Ll [el] Mm [em] Nn [en] Oo [?u] Pp [pi:] Qq [kju:] Rr [ɑ:(r)] Listen and repeat the letters. Check the pronunciations. Make sure to pronunciations the same as the tape. Finish Activity 2b, 2c and 2d. Step 7: Guessing Guess the meanings of the letters in 2e. P=Parking NBA/CBA kg/km Check their answers. Step 8: Homework Make conversations by using “What’s this?
