Improve the students writing ability教學方法Formal and interactive practice教學用具Multi-Media (or Tape recorder, OHP)教學過程Step 1RevisionHelp students to revise what is learnt in 3 periods of this module.Step2 Language practiceTask1: To summarize and consolidate the usage of adverbial clause with so, so that and because Directions(1).Run through the examples with the Ss. and make sure that they are familiar with the use of adverbial clause with so, so that and because .(2). Ask the Ss. to repeat the sentences in the box.(3). Ask “Can you make other similar examples?”(4).Focus the Sss attention on the structure. Task 4: Ask and answer about heroes in Activities 3 and 8.Directions:(1) Ask the Ss. to ask and answer about heroes .(2).Call the answers back from the class.Task 5: Listen and choose the best answer in Activity 6.Directions:(1) Ask the Ss. to listen to the interview and choose the best answer.(2) Exchange work and peer correct with their deskmates for accuracy.(2) Call the answers back from the class as plete sentences.Step 3 Writing and Module Task1. Task: Write a passage about Yuan Longping in Activity 5 on page 75. Directions 1. Give them an example and make sure that they know what to do.2. Ask the Ss to w rite a passage about Yuan Longping 3. Call back a few examples from the whole class.4. Then summarize2. Task: Write about a hero. Directions1. Run through Activity 9 with the Ss. in and make sure that they understand them.2.
