Im from ”是要獲得對方是哪里人或哪國人時用的句型。學生應能變化人稱代詞進行靈活運用。如:Where is he/she/Miss Green from? He/She is from ?!癐m”是“I am”的縮寫。疑問代詞“where”譯為“哪里”,本課中“Where is New York? Its in the USA.”是下一課中的新授句型,在本課中讓學生第一次接觸。“Where is” 的縮寫為“Wheres”。Wonderland 中的四個單詞均為城市名,Beijing、London和Paris是首都城市,而Sydney不是。讓學生了解各城市所在國家。Developing Aims能用簡單的英語進行問答有關他人及自己的背景信息,即:從哪兒來?是哪里人?并能在模擬的情景中,通過角色扮演自然運用。能了解中國及世界主要大城市的位置及所在國家,并能用英語向他人介紹。Suggestions for Teaching課時安排:4課時教材處理:第一課時:Wonderland & Farmland第二課時:Grand Theatre & Music Box第三課時:Sports Club & Disneyland第四課時:Revision & Practice3教學媒體:pictures, recorder, tape, etc.4教學方法 :詞匯教學配對游戲:a. 各城市與它的標志性建筑或風景相配對。讓學生學會各城市名。 b. 各城市的圖片與國家國旗相配對。讓學生知道每個城市是哪個國家的。句型教學活動一:事先了解幾位名人的籍貫并錄好聲音(Im from)。教師問第一張照片上的人:“Where are you from?”,事先錄好的聲音說:“Im from ”。模仿教師,學生來問剩余的幾張照片。(注:這些照片上的人物必須是學生熟悉的。)活動二:學生間相互問答?;顒尤恨D述他人的話,練習句型:Where is he/she from? Hes/Shes from 課文教學步驟一:“Mike is new here.”引出“Mike is a new boy.” 體會“new”另一含義:新來的,不熟悉的。步驟二:練習A:This is Mike, a new boy. B:Wele to our class.練習正確的“歡迎”表達法。步驟三:聽讀課文。步驟四:角色表演。步驟五:采訪名人,活用劇本。(可借用句型教學的媒體)5 可供教師參考的其他背景資料 Wele to :此句型“to”后跟地點。Wele 后不能跟人稱。如“歡迎Peter先生來上?!辈皇恰癢ele Mr. Peter to Shanghai.”, 而應為“Wele to Shanghai, Mr. Peter.”?!癠SA”是“United States of America”的縮寫。注意在“USA”前要加定冠詞“the”,而“America”前不加“the”。同樣情況有:“in the UK”“in England”等。- 配套講稿:
