A fingerprint? Or simply a look? On September 12th, xx, Apple introduced its iPhone X, which has an eye-catching technology — Face ID.With Face ID, Apple says, you can unlock your new iPhone by just staring at it. It is supported by a so-called “True Depth” camera system built into the front of the iPhone X. When the camera system sees a persons face, it uses 30,000 dots (點(diǎn)) to map the shape and outline of the face. A mathematical model of the face will then be created and stored in the phone. The next time the person looks at the iPhone X, the same dots are mapped onto his or her face and compared to the stored model. If the two match, then the phone unlocks. It happens in less than a second. Apple says the system is smart. If you change your hairstyle, put on sunglasses or make-up (化妝品), or use the phone in the dark, Face ID still works. Although the technology sounds great, there are still worries. For example, will Face ID work for twins? According to Apple, the chance of others to unlock your iPhone X by using Face ID is one in a million. Face ID can tell the differences between twins, but the error rating (比率) rises. So one would need to set a password then. Apple also says that Face ID only unlocks when you stare at it. So the phone wont unlock if you are just looking at the phone for the time. It wont work if someone puts the phone at your sleeping face or your photo, either. ( )6. According to Apple, how do people unlock iPhone X? A.By pressing a password. B.By staring at it. C.By taking photos. D.By using fingerprints. ( )7. The second paragraph mainly tells us ______. A.how to take photos by using Face ID in iPhone X B.how the camera works to unlock the phone C.how to map the shape and outline of a users shape D.how long it takes to unlock the phone ( )8. The underlined word “error” means ______ in Chinese. A.正確 B.分辨 C.錯誤 D.高清 ( )9. According to the passage, which of the following is NOT true? A.Face ID is intelligent because you can still unlock the phone with make-up on. B.The “True Depth” camera system is put in iPhone X to support Face ID. C.When you are asleep, people cant use your iPhone by putting it on your face. D.Passwords will no longer be necessary to unlock iPhone X. ( )10. The best title for this passage may be ______. A.The popularity of iPhone X B.The introduction of Face ID in iPhone X C.The differences between iPhone X and iPhone D.The disadvantages of iPhone X C 配對閱讀 左欄是五個人的情況介紹, 右欄是七個活動介紹,請將左欄的人物與右欄他們會感興趣的活動進(jìn)行匹配。 ( )11.
